By entering your personal information on the Lahinch Leisure Centre  Website and/or our booking app you agree that we may retain your information and it may be held by Lahinch Leisure Centre or Third Party Companies who processes it on behalf of Lahinch Leisure  Centre.

 

General Bookings

If you wish to book places using our website or booking app, we will need you to supply your

Membership password – this is the password to your Fitsence app

Date of Birth or Phone number

Payment card details (depending on whether certain activities are included within your membership type).

We gather this information to allow us, our agents and sub-contractors to process your booking.

In addition, we use demographic and profile data, which may either be obtained from you as a portion of the Registration Information or collected by us at our site or through our Services, to tailor your experience at our site, show you content we think will interest you, and display the content according to your preferences.

We operate and maintain mailing lists. To subscribe to our Mailing List, you must provide your full name and a valid e-mail address. (Users are automatically subscribed to certain Mailing Lists.) We will use your information to provide you with the services defined in our managed services agreement, including:

We may also send you marketing information by e-mail, sms about products and services which we believe may be of interest to you. However, we will only do so with your prior consent and will always provide the ability to review, change your preferences or unsubscribe with immediate effect.
In addition, we may also use and disclose information in aggregate (so that no individual customers are identified) for Lahinch Leisure Centre  marketing and strategic development purposes.

In order to streamline certain business operations, develop products and services that better meet the interests and needs of our customers, and inform our customers about relevant products and services, you hereby agree that we may share your personal data with any of our current or future affiliated entities, subsidiaries and parent companies (collectively “Affiliates”). This Privacy Notice does not apply to our access to or handling of your customer data; the conditions regarding the handling and processing of your customer data is covered by the managed services agreement between you and Lahinch Leisure Centre.

Lahinch Leisure Centre can confirm the details of any personal data we hold about you and how it is processed. You may also ask us to correct or delete personal information we hold about you at any time.

 Retention

Lahinch Leisure Centre will retain your data for as long as we do business with you. On termination of our contract, Lahinch Leisure Centre will archive your database no more than 4 weeks after the termination date. Your data will then be archived for a further 3 months for reference and to enable data transfer to another provider should that be required. Following the archive period, your data will then be permanently deleted from our systems.

At any point while we are in possession of or processing your personal data, you, the data subject, have the following rights:

  • a) Right of access – you have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you.
  • b) Right of rectification – you have a right to correct data that we hold about you that is inaccurate or incomplete.
